How available are scholarships and which are the least expensive universities to attend?
A large percentage of the universities and colleges that we partner with do offer partial scholarships & grants to eligible students. KCL works with you to identify what scholarships & grants are available. As to which school is the least expensive, that will depend on the course of study you want to pursue and the location you would like to live in.
What housing options are available?
Study abroad students have various options available when it comes to housing. You can share a house or apartment with other students, live on campus, stay with a local host family or live out of campus on your own. KCL provides you with assistance in finding suitable and affordable accommodation that you will love.
How long does it take to get an Australian Student Visa?
On average, a student visa is processed within 3 months. However, every student visa application is unique and the time can vary from four weeks to about three months. We recommend starting the process of applying for a visa as early as possible in case there is any delay.
Does an Australian student visa allow an international student to work?
Yes, it does. Your student visa allows you to work, up to 48 hours per fortnight. Our in-house alumna will help you come up with strategies to find a part-time job. I did not score that well in my High School Exams. Can I still get accepted at a University or College overseas?
Absolutely. Do not panic. You still have many options for studying abroad available to you. Many universities and colleges offer bridging or pathway programs for most of their courses with a few exceptions. Students who need a little extra preparation for college level courses will study for a year or so, often enrolling for courses that will give you the credits you need for your desired degree. Other institutions offer programs built into the degree that do not involve an additional year of study.

Do you have to take SAT exams to join Canadian Universities?
Generally speaking, Canadian Universities do not require entrance test scores like SAT or ACT. However, most of them require English proficiency test scores like IELTS. We will cross-check the requirements of the university or college that you are applying to and help you meet those requirements.
